Moniteau Mental Health Care was founded in 2008 by Kellie L. Shuck, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with the vision of creating a rural mental health practice that treats everyone regardless of their ability to pay.

Kellie L. Shuck

Kellie L. Shuck is dually certified in Adult Mental Health Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner and a Clinical Nurse Specialist. She received her master’s degree in Mental Health Nursing through the University of Missouri~ Sinclair School of Nursing. Her 25 plus years experience as a psychiatric nurse includes working in the inpatient and outpatient arena, as a case manager, and assisting with research. Kellie’s passion for individuals with Mental Illness has lead her in the development of initiative programs to maintain mentally ill individuals in their homes and educational programs designed to promote health and wellness.

Kellie also works as the Health Liaison for DMH Net, as adviser to the lead team for the Arkansas Co-Morbid Disease Management Project (ARCOM) and is available for on site trainings regarding mental illness and health promotion.
DMH Net, a quality improvement program designed to integrate mental and physical health care through the Missouri Department of Mental Health.
ARCOM is a disease management program through Arkansas Medicaid designed to improve access to diabetic self management education in the state.  Phase 3 of the project targets individuals with co-occurring mental illness and diabetes.
